The Aquapurse
A most innovative and comprehensive oyster Grow-out System, for both Intertidal & Subtidal use. The only assembly required is when it is used with Suspension Accessories. No assembly at all when it is used with stake insert.
The Aquapurse® is designed for the following uses:
- Intertidal – Along Longlines
- Intertidal – Across or between Longlines
- Intertidal – with Stake Inserts
- Subtidal – Suspended with Ropes
- Subtidal – Suspended with Webbing
- Subtidal – Suspended with Rods
- With Internal spat mesh bags
The Aquapurse is roomier than most other similar purpose cages and baskets in the market, benefiting from its length and flat bottom. Depending on prevailing sea-state conditions and the growers requirements, anything from 8 to 12 dozen Pacifics can be contained.
Their nesting capability is one of the major features of the Aquapurse. It requires minimal space for both transport and shed/yard storage. When filled, the Aquapurse is designed to be neatly stacked and loaded on vehicles, oyster vessels or barges.
Soft mesh spat bags can be used preferably in the larger 16mm mesh Aquapurse.
