Our staff are available to answer any questions you may have. Below are some common questions we are asked.
Q1.  We may need some assistance in final design. Is Tooltech able to offer assistance in this regard?

Answer:

Yes we can. We can also engage or refer to a highly skilled and experienced product designer who has worked with us over many years on detailed product designs.

Q2.  Are you able to offer technical information on suggested or required polymers for a product?

Answer:

Yes, we certainly have the expertise to do that.

Q3.  Are you able to tool and mould large products?

Answer:

Yes. We have a number of moulding machines of various sizes and capacity. Currently the largest mould we have made weighs over 12 tonne, and produces a product for the aquaculture industry that measures 2400mm x 900mm (8ft x 3ft) and weight 7.5kgs.

Q4.  Can the Aquatray and Aquapurse be used in rough waters and fast currents?

Answer:

Yes, there are many places in Australia and overseas where both units are used most satisfactorily in rough sea-state conditions. However, as water movement is unrelenting you should always ensure that adequate securing methods are used.

Q5.  My oyster lease experiences heavy marine fouling. Are the Aquapurse and Aquatray able to be easily cleaned?

Answer:

Yes, the polymer used in their manufacture lends itself to cleaning. However, to assist, you should ensure that unit inspection and cleaning procedures are applied regularly.

Q6.  What is the material used to make the Aquatray and Aquapurse?

Answer:

UV Stabilised Polypropylene.

Q7.  For what length of time have your units been on the market?

Answer:

For over ten years. We are continually expanding and updating our Aquaculture grow-out systems.

Q8.  Can the units be modified to suit my requirements?

Answer:

Depending on what is required, we are prepared to make changes.
